VANCOUVER, CANADA – Ivanhoe Mines (TSX: IVN; OTCQX: IVPAF) announced today that, further to its news release dated November 28, 2017, the company has filed a National Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101) technical report on the updated preliminary economic assessment for the Kakula Deposit and the updated pre-feasibility study for the Kamoa Deposit at the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The NI 43-101 technical report was independently prepared for Ivanhoe Mines by OreWin Pty Ltd, Amec Foster Wheeler E&C Services Inc., MDM (Technical) Africa Pty Ltd, SRK Consulting Inc., Stantec Consulting International LLC, Golder Associates Ltd. and KGHM Cuprum R&D Centre Ltd.The report – titled Kamoa-Kakula 2017 Development Plan – has been filed on the SEDAR website at www.sedar.com and on the Ivanhoe Mines website at www.ivanhoemines.com.
